Good food, good people, good service. All you need to know. Mmmmmmm. Conveniently located obviously because Buchanan is so small so that's the good thing that there is only one side/part of town that has all the stores. Lol well done.

We accidentally came across Tasty Chen's restaurant. It was good and fast. It is a cute town.
We love Tasty Chen's! I can't speak to their entire menu, but our family gets General Tso's Tofu at least a couple times a month and it's always fantastic.
This may be the only place in all of Buchanan to get Chinese takeout. It's definitely Americanized and of similar quality to what you can get at any Chinese restaurant in a food court. I ordered crab rangoon, egg drop soup, and beef chop suey. Portions are good sized and overall inexpensive. The egg drop soup was basically flavored thick water. The crab rangoon was decent, though, it looked to be only filled with cream cheese, not even a hint of imitation crab. The beef chop suey was surprisingly bland and here I was expecting to eat an excess of sodium. All that said, it still hit the spot for me.
My husband and I typically only get Chinese food about 4-5 times a year, most of them being around the winter holidays when other places are closed. We've been trying more places in Buchanan that my husband can bring home from work, and he wanted to try Tasty Chen's. I got the Sweet & Sour chicken and it was delicious. I tend to lean towards chicken dishes and I was not disappointed with my choice. Next time I think I will try the lemon chicken or fried rice. My husband got general tso chicken and he enjoyed it. He said he can see it becoming his regular order if we keep coming back it was that good. He said the staff was friendly as well and he could see us sitting in at some point. I do hope we return soon.
